This is a fast zipper repair solution that does not require sewing, saves time and money. The only thing to note is that it is only suitable for 5# metal zipper(zipper teeth Width1/4 inch,5 to 6.3 mm/ 0. 19 to 0. 25 in).
The method of use is very simple:
1. Use the included screwdriver to unscrew the screws on the base, and separate the upper part of it.
NOTE: Due to precision, separation may require some skill. How to separate the head from the base after removing the screw?THE BEST WAY IS: Place one side against a hard surface and tapping the other with a very small hammer or other hard object released the two parts.
2. Remove the zipper slider from the old zipper strip, and then snap the zipper repair slider onto it
3. Move the slider to the top of the zipper tape, align the zipper teeth.
4. Tighten the screw with a screwdriver to fix it.
5. Try to move the slider to test whether the repair is successful, you can pay attention to whether the teeth of the zipper are aligned.
The zipper slider is open. You can use your original zipper puller or the attached zipper puller. After installing it, use pliers to clamp it. This is made of stainless steel, so it may require a little more force to clamp it.
Due to the small screw space, the entire repair process needs to be patient and careful. Follow the steps to repair the zipper.
